Step 3: Crack & Spall Repair
Cracks, divots, and damaged areas are filled and repaired before any coating goes down. Metallic shows everything — the substrate has to be right.
Step 4: Base Coat
A solid-color 100%-solids epoxy base is applied to create the backdrop. This is what the metallic pigments will float and move against.
Step 5: Metallic Pour
Pigmented clear epoxy is poured and worked across the floor — this is where the swirls, veins, and depth form. The part that cannot be repeated.
Step 6: UV-Stable Topcoat
A clear UV-stable topcoat seals and protects the pattern, locking in the depth and the gloss for the long haul.
